Swaroop Verma, director of “Shri Ayurveda, Yoga &Tantra Center”
was born and raised in Northern India, in a traditional Ayurvedic and Yogic setting. Swaroop received initiation into Ayurveda, Yoga and Shri Vidhya Tantra at an early age from his grandfather, as an inheritance from his family lineage. After graduating from Agra University with a Science-Bio degree,
his deep interest in “Marma” (Prana triggers points) took him to South India, where he studied Marma Science with various Siddha and Kalari masters. In order to better grasp esoteric Tantric body work and the relationship between Taoism, Marma and Acu-points, Swaroop also learned Chinese medicine, receiving an MD in Acupuncture. Swaroop eventually joined Kaivalyadhama, a well reputed institute for scientific research in Yoga Therapy so as to deepen his knowledge and understanding in this realm. By means of an intensive five- year period spent working, learning and practicing with various spiritual masters at Kaivalyadhama, Swaroop developed a unique, combined- therapy method, using the Vedic trio; Ayurveda, Yoga and Tantra for complete mind-body transformation. This approach enlists Ayurveda for cultivation of energy, Yoga for energetic regulation and Tantra for transformation of energy into higher consciousness. Swaroop is a specialist in Anti-Aging and offers various programs in detoxification/rejuvenation, Panchakarma, Kaya-Kalpa Chikitsa, Marma Puncture, Marma Massage, Tantric Marma Massage and more. Since 1993, Swaroop has been running a wellness center in Israel, practicing and teaching these combined therapies, both locally and abroad.
